Terms and Conditions

1. Our services and inquiries

iTech Xpress Inc. provides electronic device repair services and device sales. Sending either a website contact message or a RepairDesk inquiry requests a response; it does not authorize repair work, payment, or a promotional subscription. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle inquiry and service information.

2. Estimates, authorization and payment

We assess the device and provide a repair estimate. Repair work begins only after you approve the estimate. If additional issues change the scope or price, we will explain the changes and obtain approval before proceeding. Approval may be recorded in writing or verbally. Payment is due upon completion of the repair.

A diagnostic fee may apply if you decline a repair after diagnosis. Any applicable diagnostic fee should be explained before diagnostic work is authorized. Sending an inquiry does not incur this fee. Free diagnostics or a free product are available only when explicitly confirmed by our team.

3. Device data

Back up your device before bringing it for service. Repair processes can cause data loss or corruption, and we cannot guarantee preservation of device data. Do not submit passwords or private files through the inquiry forms. Any access needed for a repair should be arranged separately with our staff. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

4. Repair and device warranties

Repairs include a 90-day limited warranty from the date of service covering defects in the parts and workmanship related to the original repair. A recurrence of the covered original issue within that period is eligible for re-repair at no additional cost following inspection. Devices purchased from us include a 30-day limited hardware warranty from the purchase date. See the Returns and Warranty Policy for coverage, exclusions and the claim process.

The warranty excludes new or unrelated issues and damage caused by accidents, misuse, liquid exposure, or modifications after service. Damage caused by third-party work may be excluded; merely opening a device or using another service provider does not automatically remove all coverage. Your applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

5. Returns and refunds

The Returns and Warranty Policy describes the 15-day request period for eligible discretionary returns, management approval, item-condition requirements and the restocking fee of $50 or 20% of the purchase price, whichever is greater. Discretionary returns are separate from warranty claims and remedies required by applicable law.

6. Collection of devices

Collect your device promptly when we notify you it is ready. If it remains uncollected for 90 days, we will attempt to contact you using the details provided. Any storage charge, lien, sale or disposal must follow applicable notice and legal requirements. The passage of 90 days alone does not authorize automatic sale or disposal.

7. Service messages and marketing

We use the contact information you provide to respond to inquiries and communicate about authorized services. Promotional email consent is optional and separate from privacy acknowledgment and repair authorization. Unsubscribe using the link in promotional emails. Promotional SMS requires separate consent; message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out. Providing a phone number alone is not consent to promotional SMS. We do not share mobile numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

8. Liability and applicable rights

To the extent permitted by law, limitations on liability apply as stated in your repair agreement. No term limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to limit, or excludes liability that cannot be excluded. Any proposed cap on liability should receive legal review before adoption.

9. Governing law and updates

California law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Disputes remain subject to applicable law. We will post updated terms and an effective date; changes do not retroactively change an already approved repair agreement unless lawfully agreed. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law.
